I've gotten some query letter responses inviting me to send my script for their review.
I sent out my screenplay to quite a few of them a little over 2 months ago. After the 1st month mark, or a tad after, I sent out a "just checking with the progress" email, and have yet to get responses.
Is this rejection?
What beats me is that one of the companies (an agency) had seen my work before, and so I was able to send this new script directly, without having to send a query letter first. First time around, they were very receptive and very quick to respond...now? -- Still, no response.
Also, I sent the screenplay out as a PDF, rather than hardcopy...if that makes a difference.
