A friend and I saw the same misspelling in huge letters on the side of a gas-station once. Tragically, this was pre-phones-with-cameras and neither of us had a camera with us.

I think you have a point, Signs. Or an attention-getting device to sell more Coke. Engage the customer in a discussion about spelling. A storekeeper I once knew spelled RIVERSIDE on his sign with a backward S so people would stop to tell him the mistake.
