In the wilds of Texas. Actually, the liberal oasi
I've noticed that themed mysteries have been hot for a while. You know, food mysteries with recipes, even home-improvement ones. Anybody know if there have been a wine-related series of mysteries? I have ideas percolating (don't we all?!) and am not sure where online to look for that answer.
Other than here, of course. :)

Thanks!
Mark

Yep, I'm afraid so. There's a series called The Wine Lover's Mysteries.

You could make it a continuing character like Nero Wolfe, except instead of the character being a beer guzzling fat man, the character could be a noted wine connoisseur who travels internationally and manages to get involved in mysteries where his knowledge of wine and "wine people" leads him to a solution.

Or . . . something like that. I'm sure something like this has been done as well, but coming up with a unique character would make it that much more original to a reader.

How about real international flavors, with a book in France, a book in Australia, a book in Jerez...it sounds like a fun project!
