don't be mistaken,
you are HERE,
X marks the spot;
but the poems are not,
they've been taken
but they are near

(the exercises are now found amongst the main poetry section)

lost in headspace
and now you are sent wide-eyed
among your peers
to be seen and heard.
accessible
for all the world (or forum)
to see
in all your glory.
Play your games here.
Practice your skill in the open.
Yes here. (as you are no longer there)
we've taken baby
out of the corner.

I'm finding this confusing:
words are flurrying.
Once
poems were partitioned:

the games were
..........here
the topics
....................there

everything in its place.
and then
the poems escaped
(as poems do.
They don't like contraints
unless self-imposed:
"Today I will be a sonnet, but don't you dare
tell me what to say!)"

They don't like being labeled, either.
But still I wonder
if,
in kindness to a poor befuddled poet
they might alert us.
If they would
(of their own free will, of course)
assume labels,
adopt conventions

allowing us to play
GAME: gamename
or discuss
TOPIC: topicname

and let all unlabeled
be simply
poetry.
