In my novel (the 1st of a trilogy) the 6 heroes searching for answering questions about some supernatural phenomena. They deal with history (fantastic one) and its apocalyptic surprises in order to end at a really bad supernatural guy. Their only enemy are in some points and mostly at the end the attacks they get from demonic forces.
So the question is: Must i put the usuall slimy human bad guys with the destructive attitude and the will to kill my heroes at all costs or let my novel be as it is and considered boring?

No, but you don't need to have slimy human bad guys, but you do need to have a beginning, a middle, and an end in this book, and a satisfying conclusion at that.
