Do we have any pilots in the house? If so, please PM or e-mail me ( Lori@QuoinCommunications.net). Thanks.
My father-in-law is a pilot. Former f16 pilot and now flys the big ones for FedEx. If you want me to forward some questions to him, go ahead and send me a PM.

A friend of mine is a pilot, now serving in Afghanistan. I can see if I can get you in touch with him. I think he's coming back to Cleveland in a few months.

Um, CactusWendy, thanks for the offer, but no. :)
Ray, would you see if he's up to answering a few questions, please?

If you run out of other options, I might be able to help. I'm not a pilot, but I design and test flight control systems for a living, so I can speak to how airplanes work. If you want pilot proceedures, though, I'm of no use.

I'm an airline pilot. 15,000 hrs. Type ratings in numerous aircraft, all non-military. Drop me a line if you want.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I seem to have found some excellent resources. But I may be back. One can never tell what I might need next.

I was a student pilot 15 years ago--depends on the question Birol.
