Well, no, I'm really not. Mostly because I forgot to invite you fine horror folks to the SFF book study of I Am Legend for this month. For those who've yet to read it but wish to, don't worry. There is plenty of time to read it and join the discussion by the end of the month. And of course, the thread will be open after that.

Why, thank you kindly, Bahamutchild. I expect many of our fine horror hounds will be happy to join you there. I know it's a popular book. *cough* One that I haven't read yet.

Perhaps I'll make a trip to Borders this coming weekend.

Excellent. Hope to see you in SFF soon then :)

Keep in mind two things so you aren't surprised- It's a novella, often with short stories at the end; and it is nothing like the movie, particularly the ending...

The comment I'm about to put down is only half serious.

Barnes and Noble aren't bad enough? Taking vampire stories and putting them in the SF/F section while not even having a horror section and putting horror writers in with regular fiction is wrong. I Am Legend is not SF/F, it's horror. Horror is a legitimate genre regardless of the book stores or publishers. :)
