They've been annoying enough that Warner Bros (UK) has issued a press-release on them:

They have offered members of the public jobs that do not exist and have asked for personal details (including financial information) and money to be sent to them to secure the supposed job with Warner Bros. or companies allegedly connected with Warner Bros.

Some of the fraudulent correspondence appears to originate from or reference the following

and that these activities are wholly fraudulent.

Never heard of them myself and I know most of them. I found the same info Mac did which doesn't look too good for you.

What details did they provide you? They must have given you something if they're offering you a job. Search those details on the net and see what you find.

This is why a membership with HCD or IMDBPro is important. When you get an offer like this from some company you never heard of, search out what they have done, who is on the board or who the development exec is, etc. And never ever send your personal info via eMail.

The 419 school of scam has a fascinating history. Mac's link is good, and other threads here have discussed their efforts to scam members of this site and ways to retaliate (forwarding the eMails to US Secret Service is what I do; don't know what the options are for Indian citizens).
