Hi Everyone,

Eh hem, I have TWO cat articles scheduled for 2009 in I Love Cats Magazine.

I only just pitched an idea to Lisa (editor) about two weeks ago and got the go ahead!

Isn't that just PURR-fect!!!

Did she tell you the months they will appear? She accepted an article of mine a while back, but I didn't get notification as to the date it would be printed.

So far, one is in the March/April 2009 and the other in the Summer 2009 issue!

Is it true that I Love Cats buys all rights? Can you negotiate on the rights sold?

Congrats, you guys, on your published articles.

I just had a story appear in the July/August issue, but I wasn't paid at the same time.

Did it take a while for you to be paid?

Or anyone else able to comment on the payment?

Update

I received my check today!

So they pay about 3 weeks after publication (my story was in the July/August issue)
