Imperium (working title) is a space opera set in the present. Humanity exists in more places than just Earth, and the rightful Galactic Emperor is homeless in Seattle. The story ranges from the streets and homeless shelters, to interstellar space with planet-destroying starships.

I wrote this novel because I wanted to read something with the same sense of scale as E.E. "Doc" Smith, or perhaps David Weber's Dahak books. I have a complete draft that's had some editing, but I'm still not completely happy with it, so I'm asking for a fresh set of eyes or two.
