Okay, near the end of the year now, so I thought we could have a vote (a mini oscars) for our favourite and least favourite 2008 movies; best actor/actress and worst actor/actress; best soundtrack and worst soundtrack.

I'll add up the nominations and post the winners and losers on January 3rd.

Wow... let me check the list again...

Including Valkyrie, which I saw on Monday... I've seen... 27 films, all but 3 of them in the theater.

It was a busy (and mostly good) summer.

Ditto, but if I had to guess before then:

1) Favourite movie: Mama Mia, unless it ends up being Benjamin Button.

2) Least Favourite: Religulous

3) Best Actor/Actress: I'm going to guess at Cate Blanchett in Benjamin Button.

Though she was easily the best part of the Indiana Jones flick for me.

And I agree with Deek about Meryl Streep in Mama Mia.

4) Worst Actor/Actress: No opinion

5) Best Soundtrack: Mama Mia. No contest whatsoever.

It's not that bad -- actually I liked it. But I prefer Nick and Nora's better. And yes, it's too late -- Juno came out last year. Otherwise, I would have voted for Atonement for best soundtrack.
