I'm going down to the town on Saturday to buy my copy. Haven't seen it in the cinema, so am looking forward to watching it.
I want to buy it, but I've basically listed this DVD as the only (reasonable) thing I really want for Christmas. I know somebody in the fam's buying it for me today, I'm trying to figure out who it is to convince them to just give it to me now...

That is so funny. I specifically told my family NOT to buy this for me, because I knew I wouldn't want to wait, and would buy it for myself the day it came out. I gave them a list of DK related gifts, instead. I'm sure one of them is going to get me the full script.
Already way ahead of you there. I have the cookies, Maltesers and also two bottles of bailey's that have been given to me as early Chrissy pressies. I will also be switching off every phone in the house and putting a sign on the door saying 'Go away, Dark Knight Day'.

Well, I'm still going to end up seeing it. I just won't necessarily own it just yet (It won't kill me to wait until the 25th... right? Right??) A young lady I'm dating is buying it to watch for herself and invited me over to watch it with her. Mind you, this is her first time seeing it and she also never saw Batman Begins, so I'm trying to warn her in advance that this isn't exactly the type of superhero movie she might be used to.

Well, just waiting until Christmas Day for a DVD to call my own. No way I could hold out watching it until then. Hell, I just went to the theater this weekend to catch it at the dollar flicks. I still have Joker dreams on occassion. This movie is on my brain like a skullcap.
If TDK was a woman, we'd either be married already or she'd have filed a restraining order against me....
First of all, Christian Bale is a serious problem for me. I might actually have feelings for him and that prohibits me from dating other people.
Second of all, I can not wait to kick back with a bag of m&m's and pop that baby into the dvd player tonight! I saw it twice in theaters. What a phenomenal movie. It better be up for best picture of the year!

Now, if you buy one and never open it and keep it in mint condition, would it become valuable in, say, 20 years?
I was thinking about doing just that ... I asked for nothing for Christmas and tried to keep my excitement about the impending DVD release low so no one would get it for me.
