Apex Books (you know, the guys who do Apex Magazine)(hehe) are holding a raffle that ends on December 10. Looks like some pretty cool prizes involved (like a signed and doodled copy of Jay Lake's "Escapement", an ARC of Paul Jessup's "Open Your Eyes", critiques from the editor-in-chief, and other super coolness).

Apex Books Raffle

I was mostly looking to win a freebie of Paul Jessup's ARC (because Paul Jessup is a cool guy), but decided to go all in and buy "A Chance to Win Everything" because there are far too many tempting items.

I probably should have posted up something here sooner, but I am having a blonde year. Hehe. I figure the folk on this forum are the most likely to be interested in the prizes involved. Hooray for prizes!

Gak! You'd think I'd know how to make a simple link without doubling up on the http fun. *sigh*

Thanks, Cybernaught. All fixed now.

That is so cool to see! Jason (the editor and founder) is a friend of mine. When he first started Apex Magazine and I was marketing director at Behler, I put some ads for some of our science-fiction/fantasy titles in there., and we got to know each other. I helped him with some marketing and distribution tips, contributed a piece or two to the mag. I lost touch and let his excellent magazine slip from my mind (I actually think I still owe him a story now that I think of it). Well, it seems like he has himself a nice little empire. I'm impressed but not surprised. He's a great guy to work with, and obviously he can throw a nice little contest. Very cool!
