I'll probably see it this week as nothing else in theaters really interests me right now, and I've heard lots of good things about this flick...

Um...you're going to be disappointed...in Let The Right One In, the vampires name is Eli, and she's a 12 year old girl.

It's Swedish with English subtitles. The theatre where we went to see it had defaced Twilight posters next to posters for the movie.

Now that's what I call original and inventive publicity!

I'm very excited to see it. I didn't realize it was coming out so soon. I'll definitely have to find a theater around here showing it.

I don't think it will be around here. I'll have to wait for DVD.

I just checked for it and it doesn't look like it's going to be coming around here any time soon. DVD release is scheduled for March, so I may have to wait until then.

I just saw it! Loved it! Anyone else seen it yet?

Yeah, I've heard nothing but raves about this. Been meaning to see it when I have the time. Of course there's already an English-language remake in the works, for those who like their horror without subtitles or, you know, horror.

The clip and trailer I saw gave me a chill but I keep hearing such good things about it. I'm kinda tempted to read the book. I'll probably grab it on DVD since I don't head out to the movies much.

I just watched this. Fucking WOW. It was better than both christmas and sex. Tomorrow I'm going to quit my job and devote my life to learning swedish so I can appreciate its awsomeness in the original language.

... um ...

I watched a teaser on YouTube.

... beautiful preteens killing each other, beating each other and somehow finding twisted romance throughout?

If I'm right, I'm avoiding this like an army of JWs marching down my street.

Linky, please? That wasn't really the impression I got from the movie. More of a Barlow & Straker are Dead kind of thing.

It doesn't look like it's going to be released here until next April, so I might just get the DVD on Amazon when it comes out. I read the book and really enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to this. :)

I think the teaser is a little misleading. In the actual film romance was detectable only in trace amounts. Lots of beating and killing though.

Spoilers:

The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that the guy who wrote the book was a Salem's Lot fan. Personally, I always wanted a bit more back story on how Barlow & Straker hooked up, and there was that line about Mark entering Barlow's church as choirboy castratum.

I just saw it. It was pretty good. There were some very poorly done CGI cats that they could probably have done without, but other than that I have no complaints. However, the overall effect is more comedic than horrific -- the only scary thing about the movie is the thought of what Hollywood will do with the remake...

"It's too slow paced -- let's liven it up with a car chase and some explosions!"
