I guess what is considered quirky is a bit of a subjective matter, but I don't think anyone could argue that Just in Caseis not an offbeat/quirky novel. Go ahead, prove me wrong!

I'd throw a vote to anything in the Weetzie Bat series by Francesca Lia Block. One of my favorites back in the day!

I agree with Cassidy. Chbosky's Perks of Being a Wallflower is a good example.

I read 'How I Live Now', didn't much like it. Offbeat, certainly, but a little too disturbing (in the wrong ways, 'cause sometimes I'm cool with disturbing) for my tastes.
On second thought, it's definitely worth reading, just not at all a feel-good book.
