I posted the screen play to my short film a few months ago, and now it is done. It is about 25 minutes long. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Cool. I like student films. I was involved in a few and I found them fun to do. Good luck with it!

Questions: What equipment you use? What was the budget? What editing platform? Did you use real actors or just friends and colleagues? ...

Congrats, but do you have a version in quicktime. I am on a Mac and don't have windows media player installed.

Thanks. I learn a lot everytime i do a short. This one was not for class which i think gave me a lot more freedom.

I shot it on my DVX100a, also had a PVC track dolly built and got a crane off ebay. Budget (not including that stuff) was about 300 bucks (Half of which ill get back by returning props to wal mart, heh). The main character is my room mate, but he wants to be an actor. The others were pretty much friends with no experience.


And once i re-master the sound and fix a few thigns ill encode a QT version.
