I finally got to see my new cover because it was FINALLY posted up on Amazon. (Never mind that Amazon got my cover before I did. <G> That's a rant, and this is a celebration! <G>)

What do you think? I'll be adding it to the library and such as soon as I can, but I wanted to share it with you guys first. :)

This is pretty much a scene I described on my art fact sheet, so I'm very happy with it.

Thanks, gang. :) The book will be out in February.

I *think* this is the back cover blurb they went with:

You can’t lose what you don’t try to keep...

Shannon Vanderhoff learned early that everything in life is fleeting. That’s why she won’t let herself get attached to anything. Or anyone. Not the traumatized little boy in her care. And definitely not art therapist Greg Hawkins, who seems as determined to care for her as he is to heal her nephew.

Like a character from one of his comic books, Greg has swooped in to their rescue, empowering the child…and loving the woman. But it takes the two of them to turn the boy’s life around. And it takes a kid with special powers all his own to create a loving family.

The hero of this book is a comic book artist/art therapist. :) Hence the whole "superhero" theme here.

Very cute! Amazon has often seen my covers before I have, too. Such a mixed feeling to find it there: "Yay! My cover!" and "Heyyyy, wait a minute, why didn't anyone show me first?"

job

In the end, it's just you and the manuscript

Very pretty. Lots of ooomph, and your heroine has such a sweet face.

OK. Ok. I notice what I notice.

LOL - I said she looks like she's about 12. <G> I want whatever face cream she's using because she's supposed to be a good deal older than 12. <G> (like, about 30-32. <G>)

PS - She sort of has a Marsha Brady thing going, doesn't she?
