Is there a place for a story like mine

It looks like you'll need to tweak your proposal a bit. For example, the section on competing books should list similar titles to yours and reasons why yours is different and would sell. The Marketing/Promo section should contain information on marketing opportunities specific to your book, but it looks like you put a sample chapter there.

Also, I would post excerpts in the critique section here. There are some great writers who will help you polish it up and get it ready for submission to agents. That will be the true test of whether it is marketable!
