28,000 words of a new novel in November so far...

Anybody else NOT doing Nano want to post their figures? :)

I'm not doing it either but I can't post my numbers because I don't really know what they are. I usually write linearly but this novel isn't playing out that way and I have scenes written all over the place.

I'm not doing NaNo and I'm almost finished my MG novel. I've written 4000 words in November so far. I have about 2000 to go.

28,000 words! Wow, congrats to you. Great number!

I'm not doing NaNo but I'm hoping to make some real progress on my WIP. So far, I've written about 3000 words (in November) -- I'm just about over 75000 words right now.

I'm not doing nano. Who has time? I'm revising my novel for the fifth or sixth time. Plus I need to start on a nonfiction book I've contracted for. Plus I need to start remodeling the middle bedroom into a nursery.

I'm not doing Nano but I've written about 20,000 words so far in November and finished the first draft of a book that been on the back burner for months now. I'm really excited to have the first draft finished. Now I can go back and smooth it all out. Yeah!

Well I'm signed up for NaNo but I'm kind of cheating; I'm working on a WIP instead of a new MS, but I'm counting only new words to the word count. In reality, I don't really care about hitting 50,000. It was more of a way to kick my own ass into writing every day again.

I decided not to do NaNo because I wanted to focus on my WIP, but I did use it to inspire me to kick my butt into gear. And it did. :D I've written about 7K so far this month (my goal is 5K per week), which is WAY more than I've ever done in 10 days before.

Not doing NaNo, because I always figured that if I couldn't motivate myself without outside help, I probably shouldn't be doing it anyway. That said, I've written about 10k words, for something that may eventually become a novel, or maybe a very long short story
