Hello, everyone!

I'm here because a friend of mine finally convinced me that I need to make a real effort to start writing. This board looks fabulous...lots of great info!!

I'm a stay-at-home mom with two kids. For now I'm concentrating on writing kids' books. After working with preschoolers for 5 yrs & then having my own kids I believe I have an excellent feel for what that age group likes.

I'm looking forward to learning and sharing with all of you!

Definitely feel free to jump into various topics. I've been writing professionally off and on since 1975 and still feel like I'm a newbie at times.

I just started doing novels about three years ago (not counting that one I was working on back in 7th grade that I keep around to keep myself from getting a swelled head), so it's definitely been a learning experience.

Hello and welcome, Lucky Penny! Being a stay at home mom is one of the hardest, yet rewarding jobs there is! I've raised two, myself. It was exhausting but, some days, I wish I could do it all again. Glad you're here!
