city of Ember

I didn't have a lot of expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by the YA sci-fi/fantasy. I was especially pleased with the themes -- corruption, politics (communism, for example), etc. and how they didn't try to cute everything up. The leads were very good -- Saoirse Ronan (Atonement) and Harry Treadaway (Control). A few good cameos including Tim Robins. Bill Murray, however, kind of stood out like a sore thumb, I think.

Anyway, it was better than I thought and I really enjoyed it.
