Since I'm wishing to get back into poetry again, writing it, entering contests, seeking publication, etc., I bought a copy of the Poet's Market 2009 last week. I was browsing through it last night and most listings include "has published poetry by ____". I was surprised to see my name in one of these listings. Yes, my name in black and white at the top of page 169. KotaPress mentioned me, and it's been years since I published anything with them. I had a few poems, articles, and book reviews published there about 4 or 5 years ago. I can't remember everything I had published there since it was an online market and the site appears to be "down" (don't know if it's just down for the moment or no longer exists).

Anyway, I thought that was pretty cool. Plus, it gives me an extra boost that makes me want to get back into poetry/writing again.

My name might even be listed with KotaPress in past editions of the book, I don't know. Anybody here got any older editions (2005-2008, maybe) that they can check for me? Thanks.

And if anyone wants me to check anything in the 2009 edition, just let me know (sending a PM would be best).

Well, that's just what we need on this site, a fiery red-head who's been published!

Congrats on the reference in PM 2009. Hope you become active in our critique forum.

Re:

That was indeed a nice poem by Williams and would recommend everyone to have a look at that if they are unknown to it. My cousin has a poetic side too other than his student routine and recently he had mentioned about poetry visualized where the members review the poems posted by other members, either in text or audio and give a touch of their own in terms of graphics, video, paintings and lots of other creative things that suits the poem. It is a splendid way to see your work in a visualized manner as there is belief that people remember the visual scenes more than the audio ones and I believe that this will make your poem more noticed.
