JComp - breathe a sigh of relief! From the Asylum is not going away, they are back, and I can't wait to see your story there! I just got this from them:
"First, let me apologize for your extremely long wait. We fell far behind where we had ever intended to be, and I know that it is difficult to let a piece be away from home that long. We do have good excuses, including a death in the family and a hurricane that destroyed most of the area.
We are reading all submissions now and responding as quickly as possible. You will hear from us within the next three months, hopefully much sooner.
Our new issues will be out this month, and all work on the anthologies is back in progress. We have completed the first round and will be sending out initial rejections and acceptances this week.
Thank you for your patience through our difficulties."
