Does anyone have any market research to share on the Christian market?

On one USA church video it claimed that 2 million Christians have change their beliefs since reading the Da Vinci Code. Are there any published figures on this change?

Yes, we have a Christian Markets thread...just type in the search for it if you can't find it here in the forum.

Okay, this isn't a question about market research...this seems to be more a question you are asking about how many Christians have "changed their beliefs" since reading the Da Vinci Code. (Renounced Christianity? Decided Jesus had a child by Mary Magdalene? Decided to believe the scholarship of a novel asserting Constantine 'chose' the books of the canon?) What degree of change is asserted in such a statement? Such a claim on a "USA church video" (?) seems not only nebulous and vague enough as to be totally useless, but makes me wonder why you think the 'exact figures' about such 'change' would be useful to you or your writing project.

Or perhaps you had another reason for throwing this vague assertion out into cybersphere?

The DaVinci Code changed my belief that my mediocre writing skills could never translate into an international bestseller.

:D Well, it seems it did have a literary contribution to make, after all.

A statistic like that is impossible to verify or refute. As the man said, Numbers don't lie, but liars figure. It serves the purpose of the devil to have propaganda like that circulated and given credence.

As for the book, I agree with III
