The Yalobusha Review, the literary journal of the University of Mississippi, is seeking short works of narrative art (single page comics, graphic short stories, graphic novel excerpts). We're tired of words. We want pictures.
Be advised: Work will be published in black and white. If your story hinges on the discovery that the killer wore a red polka dot tie, maybe think twice before submitting. Also maybe ask yourself what kind of killer would wear something so flashy.
Boring, but essential info:
Deadline for submissions is November 1st.
Ways of submitting:
Email: Send images in .jpeg format, along with a cover letter and brief bio in the text of the e-mail, to: [email protected]
Snail mail: Send a quality reproduction, 8" x 11" max on individual pages, along with a cover letter, brief bio, and SASE for response, via post to:
