Glad to be here and thought I'd say hi. I'm a marketing and communications exec in the Washington, DC area who's been writing fiction off and on my whole life -- but the last few months started to get serious about it again for the first time since graduating college in 1991. (Got caught up in the ol' career and thought writing was something I would do "later" then woke up one morning in a cold sweat and realized that it was now "later.")
Have taken a few classes, written a couple stories, and now working on my first novel (my thing is mystery/suspense though I have eclectic tastes). Looking forward to participating and learning from others here though it may take a while for me to get the hang of things.
