hey, i'm a newbie. i'm from connecticut, usa. i'm 19 years old and, how original, i love writing.
i have recently started pursuing an interest in freelance writing. i would love to eventually send some queries out to local magazines and begin to get my work published. for now, i'm building up my portfolio by accepting freelance work.
i'm majoring in psychology, but that doesn't mean that i don't have any instruction on writing and research. i was also considering minoring in some sort of writing (creative, journalism, etc.) concentration, but we'll see what happens with that.
i usually spend more time reading than posting on forums, but i hope to eventually get rid of my newbie status by contributing to this forum.
