Just wanted to "officially" say hi! I've been lurking for a few days and I've learned more about writing in those three days than I have...like, ever.
I've always loved to read, but I just started writing in the past year. Like everyone else, my writing's up and down: I just got one short story published in an anthology for pay (Alyson Books), but I just got three short story rejections in the last two weeks.
I want to do much, much more, but I'm letting the fear paralyze me. The problem? I get sooo fearful, that I put off writing (I can procrastinate with the best of 'em!)
Anyway, thanks to everybody who gives their input! It helps a lot!
