The SouthWest commercial with the stewardess who gives the price of each services on the plane, including the bathroom and pushing the call button. She is so frigging sarcastic she's perfect.

Feel free to push that button for $1

One I thought was real class was after 9/11 during the Super Bowl Budweiser aired a commerical where they had their Clydesdales go to the Hudson River on the Jersey side and kneel and bow to the WTC site it only aired once I thought it was a dignified tribute.

Found the link to the commercial on youtube

Any Guinness advert. The latest one, with the tall building at night, is awesome. :hooray:

Dancing the dance of life. somewhere.
That cadbury gorilla advert is legendary. Me and my old friends used to have fierce debates of great length concerning whether the gorilla was a normal guy, or Phil Collins himself.

My favorite holiday ad is the Corona Christmas Palm Tree. Love it.

Recently the J.C. Penny's The Breakfast Club remake makes me giggle. Just giggle, mind you. No guffaws.

The volkswagon commercial from a few years back. The one where the guy in the lot sees someone coming to look at the car he'd picked out and quickly licks the door handle.

I almost bought a volkswagon right then and there.

Oh, and the Etrade commercial from the superbowl with the clown and the baby, mostly just for the last line:

That gorilla one is awesome! Was it British? Though since TiVo, I'm out of the commercial loop...

I believe these are both Canadian, so maybe some of you haven't seen them.

1. Flight attendant is having just a little bit of trouble quitting smoking. This might explain a lot about some of your flight attendants in the past. :)

2. Zellers ad. Whoa-oh-oh-A...B...C. You'll never get that song out of your head ever again. And might spend too much time figuring out what all the letters stand for, too.

Here. Now.
One from about 1972. I saw it once, heard it once, and caught the end of it once so I can't recall the product. It had two women, one seated, the other behind her.
It ended with, "You know, Marsha, maybe if you used (product) you'd stop being such a twit."
I thought it was wonderful. Still do. Does anyone else remember this?

AW. A very nice place!
you'll probably think I'm nuts for saying so but...
I really enjoyed the Relacore (diet pills) commercial.
The woman expressed so much enthusiasm about the product,
grinning widely with eyeballs nearly popping out the sockets,
while talking about cortisol, the nasty little stress hormone,
that it made me merry.

I would never claim to love a commercial as by their very nature they're annoying. All they do is interrupt a show you're watching!
Two commercials I do like though.
First is the old marmite ad that ran in England. I liked it for its honesty! A young couple just got homr from a date. She'd gone into the kitchen to fix herself a snack, after which they settled on the sofa for a heavy snogging session. They'd just started kissing, he pulled away suddenly, gagging and choking. She looked puzzled for a moment then started laughing. Camera pulls out to reveal the kitchen and a single bottle of marmite on a counter. Logo comes up..."Marmite. You love it or you hate it." For those who don't know, Marmite is a sort of yeast sandwich spread. I hate the product but the ad is great! I mean, how many companies do you know who actually have the guts to admit you might not like their product?? LOL!
The other commercial I almost love (especially after it was so brilliantly spoofed in Scary Movie) is the Budweiser "Whassssuuuupppppppp????" campaign. Had me on the floor every time!
Ok some of the geico ads are pretty good too except the talking gekko ads they really need to be retired now.
Oh and the window cleaner ad is funny too where the birds keep getting a laugh at the expense of the poor guy who keeps walking into the glass door when they ring the doorbell. That's pretty funny too.
Other than that, ads suck!
