It might be either fantasy or horror according to how the story is written. From your brief description I would make a guess at horror, but it's hard to tell.

Its more like, Angel. Yeah, Angel. Except that its darker, and more gritty. My friend considered it as horror, but there's just so much action included, that somehow it doesn't convince me.
