changing formats

hi everyone. I'm new here and I've got a question. Now, I finished my first screenplay and completed all the editing. I'm entering it into the Zoetrope competition. I wrote the SP in Movie Magic 2000, but Zoetrope only accepts: Adobe Acrobat PDF, Microsoft Word, and Rich Text Format files.
I only have Microsoft word because I can't afford Adobe.
MY PROBLEM:
My screenplay is 120 pages long. I copied and pasted it into Microsoft Word and adjusted the margins, but I now have 146 pages!!!
Have any of you ever encountered this problem? And what did you do to remedy it?

i have MM 200..strangely PDF is not available as a file type. But I do see the Rich Text Format. I'll try saving it with that. Thanks!!

Crap.. it's now at 143 pages.
