Hello! I'm Jolie. Just finished college with a B.A. in English. I'm currently working at a small university press and loving it. School has taken up most of my time over the last few years, so I am still unpublished but working my way toward being ready for publication.

Along with writing, one of my favorite activities when I'm not at work is exploring the blogosphere for discussion and information about the writing life and the publishing industry, so I'm here at Absolute Write to continue in that vein.

Any recommendations for places I should visit on this forum?

Wow, so much depends on what you're looking for. There are forums for the different writing genres, places to share your work, and great places for information and others for intereacting with other members. And, of course, Uncle Jim's writing thread. Browse through them, and you're sure to find something of interest. And welcome to AW.
