How do you get "in the mood"?

I'm looking for a few quotes for a query letter and possibly an article if it's accepted.

For the ladies:
1. If you're not in the mood, and he is, what do you do?
2. Any tips on getting your guy in the mood when he's not?

For the men:
1. Any tips on getting your girl into the mood when she's not?
2. If you're busy and not into it, what would make you change your mind?

1. Any tips on getting your girl into the mood when she's not? I am not a guy but I will answer this from a girls POV (well, my POV)...if he would go slow with casual touches, sincere eye contact and gentle kisses...

1. I stare at the ceiling and think of the queen OR I demand foreplay until he eventually falls asleep.

2. I call 911, because he must be dead. That's the only way I can figure out he wouldn't be in the mood.

What a hilarious discussion!

Fun Fact #1 - I have a higher libido that HE does. Bet you don't hear that one often! And he's a little hyper and distracted sometimes, so I just tease him with kisses and caresses, to hint that things might progress should he finally sit still long enough. Given "the place" as Billy Crystal says, it usually does.

Fun Fact #2 - If he really doesn't respond, it's usually because he's overly tired. But after a brief nap...like in the middle of the night...he snaps to attention with a little special attention. (oops - did that belong on this board or the other?)

Fun Fact #3 - A Mood Setting for both is watching a romantic movie...or one where anyone kisses...or touches. A blanket to cuddle under, stroking of the thigh and snuggling usually leads to interrupting said movie. Ahem.

Sounds like lisamarie got plenty of answers already, but it's a fun topic!
