I have watched this film twice but cannot remember the name of it.
It was made some time in the 1960s - In Britain I think.
It is set in Scotland -the highlands - in the Victorian period and is about a grumpy doctor. He has a dog who is afraid of swimming.
The doctor has an assistant who falls ill and he gets a specialist to come up from London.
He treats one patient's fever by sitting him in a barrel of cold water but feeding him whiskey to keep him warm.
One night the bridge gets washed away and the doctor falls off his horse. The dog overcomes its fear of swimming to go and get help.
Anyone know what it is called? I thought it was called 'Home from the Hills' but apparently it is not.
