this is my story blurb:
Two teenagers venture to find each other. One is a girl and the other is a boy. They only know each other through their recurring dreams, but when waking up, they know the other one definitely exists. Each dream hides a clue to the whereabouts of the other. It is up to them when they wake up to realize what the clue is.
The boy’s dreams are all about finding his true love, the girl. Every morning he wakes up, is a step closer to finding her. The boy doesn’t know who she is, but he knows there’s something special about her.
The girl’s dreams fall into two completely different categories. Every other day, the girl has the same dreams about finding the boy as her true love. But the days she doesn’t dream about finding her true love, she dreams of scheming to kill her mortal enemy who killed her parents, which is the same boy.
Every morning she records what happens in each dream. The first dream she ever had about him was the boy as her true love. But the following night she dreamt about the night her parents were killed while they were away on vacation nearly three years ago. She knew they were killed in London, but the London police proved to be unreliable. They had no suspects and since then, the killer was unknown. In her dream she sees the face of their killer, who took all her parents’ valuables and recognizes him as the boy in the dream she had the night before.
The girl is puzzled to find out who the boy is to her. Is he really her true love that deep inside she hopes he is? Or is he really the one who killed her parents?
Setting is present-day London and Montana. They are trying to find each other. There is a major twist at the end, that gives the reason why she has two different dreams. This is not one of my main WIPs i am working on, but something I will come to in the future.
Any ideas on what genre this is, is appreciated =)
