In what shape do your stories have to be in when you submit to these kinds of things? Finished, ready for the agent shape? Or, here, I thought this up last night, it needs a little work, but ta-da, this is it?

It will need to be totally finished and in the best polished-up condition possible, I'd think. Remember, they will be getting lots of submissions and you want yours to stand out!
