I'm looking for a mentor to help beta-read and offer advice on (what I hope is) the final rewrite of my current WIP. It's a character-driven, epic fantasy.
Since I do already have a few people beta-reading, the emphasis would be on the mentoring side of things. I've lost my confidence and my way quite a bit lately. Thus, without meaning to sound elitist, I would really like the advice of someone who knows what they're doing, and who can remain professional and objective while still being able to provide a constructive critique on elements of my writing and the overall "saleability" of my WIP.
My current betas are not writers. I love them, and am grateful to them, but they can't provide any help with regards to writing or publishing. The best feedback I get is, "What happens next?" or "You left out a comma here."
