Another Booted PA Guy

No. I don't want to start another PA thread. I have been visiting over here for some time looking for good writing tips. I read Uncle Jim a lot. For awhile we had some good instructional material on the PA boards, but they usually got hooted off by the wooly bestiality threads, Paula's underwear, obituaries, prayer chains, lonely hearts club, campouts and the like.

I was finally booted off the PA Boards on April 13th, for my post on the Option 1, Option 2 Thread, on the Author's Lounge Board. It is now near the bottom of the second page. I obviously struck a nerve, because the PA responded with two rebuttars in quick succession, but I don't think I was wrong. I had posts pulled before. I guess they got enough of me. I certainly got enough of them.

I came here hoping to benefit from people actually interested in writing.

I didn't bother to go to PA and read your post, because regardless of whatever you said or didn't say: you are still welcome here. And if I had to read the PA board anytime soon I'd be likely to hurl, if you catch my drift.

I know what you mean about the desperate type topics at PA. Very sad topics over there and totally unrelated to writing or helping someone who wanted to be one. Though I do respect several people over PA, the boards do not reflect a good feeling or people that even know what they are talking about concerning writing - and there are no topics on writing - just idle chat.
