I know this is probably the wrong board to post this (forgive me mods), but I just have a really quick question. When sending a cover letter to a magazine for a short story piece, and the only name I can find is of the managing editor, do I address the cover letter to her?

Also, is there a difference between a cover page and a cover letter?

Probably better for the short story forum, where threads like this exist already.

I believe so. And if you're going to use her title, find out in advance if it's "Miss" or "Mrs."

I don't think so.
