Hi, still finding my way around here.

I've done a little bit of looking on the children's critiquing site. But, I can't figure out how to make parts of the text appear shaded in my response without copying and pasting from the original posting.

I've tried clicking the "quote text" box on the quick reply window, but no text shows up. What am I doing wrong?

Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

To make sections appear in a quote box, wrap the text in question with the following:

(quote)blah blah blah(/quote)

BUT use [ ] in place of ( ). Obviously I can't actually type it as it's entered or it'll look like this:

If my instructions make sense, it should
look like this.

Okay, here I'm trying it. Did I get it right?

Thanks for all the help!!! (I hate learning new computer things; it always makes me feel really inept and stupid!;)
