Ok, this game is very simple. It was inspired by a friend of mine who can not find a title for her work. On the other hand on of the first things I come up with is a title. So considering the disjointed way my mind works I put these two concepts together and came up with this game.

The rules are simple:

First player post a title(s) (1-5). These can be working titles from your WIP, made up on the spot or from something you have either published or is resting at the bottom of your desk drawer.

The second player then writes a short intro (1-5 lines) based solely on the given title(s). After that they add their own titles for the next poster to tackle. Please make sure that you write CLAIMED in your reply to avoid double posting (h/t to t0neg0d).

The WatchTower Club

James, Peter & Jack share a love of tree houses and books. Theirs is called the WatchTower. But one day Jack discovers a sword stuck at the base of their tree house and when he pulls it out the three friends are transported in time and space to the kingdom of Melandry. The kingdom is under assault from the evil armies of Ntal. Now they must protect the watch tower, save the kingdom and find a way back home!

1st--GREAT idea! This should be a lot of fun.

2nd--I would suggest posters come in, drop a post in that says: CLAIMED! and then they can take a few minutes to write their response without double/triple posts happening. Once they are finished, click the edit post button and drop their reply in.

One last suggestion. Reuse the previous titles that you don't use and replace the one you do. That way, there are always five going and makes it easier on the next poster.
