Saw it.

Awesome. Fantastic. Adorable. Every positive adjective in the universe.

Best Pixar and/or Disney movie ever.

How could you have seen it already? It's released today...

I'll be watching it this weekend. Can't wait. I love Pixars. It's funny because WALL-E was supposed to be a "smaller" film between Pixars big releases.

I loved Finding Nemo and am confident that director Andrew Stanton would bring us another classic.

I'm hearing great things about WALL*E. Of course, our little theatre isn't getting it this weekend, bastids. Instead, I have to review WANTED.

Oh, I have my methods! (Midnight showing, silly!)

Just for comparison: I do NOT like Finding Nemo.

This... Wall-E... is... BRILLIANT. I've been excited about this movie literally since I saw the first piece of artwork for it, which has got to be over a year ago. Usually that means I'm kind of disappointed because when I anticipate a movie that much it usually doesn't live up to my expectations.

This one did.

ETA: Oh, and the short little animation that they show before the start of the movie? OMG the entire theater was in stitches! Everyone burst into applause at the end. That alone was worth the price of admission, even before Wall-E.

I'm taking the kiddos to see it tomorrow. I can't wait. My 10yo is mad for anything robot. He's gonna love it.

Behind you! Boo.
Oh good, I'm glad to hear it's worthwhile. Maybe I'll stay awake when I take my kids to the movies.

I just seen it. Great film. It's the first movie I've seen in along time that I didn't fall asleep in at least once.

Wall-E is really dead the whole time and the story really takes place in the year 2008 but he was raised in an isolated futuristic village.

I'm not sure why Disney's worried about the upcoming Up, since it seems there's little Pixar can't do. Wonderful film. Touching without yanking at the heartstrings, very smart and diverting.

Edit: Poor choice of words. "...yanking at the heartstrings" should read "trying overly hard to tug at the heartstrings".

Forgot to note it was funny to see everyone on the theater urging each other to pick up their garbage as the end credits rolled, which I've never seen before -- talk about a message hitting home, however temporarily.

Saw it tonight at a post-midnight showing. Brilliant is perhaps the best way (and insufficient at that) of describing it.

It is one of those rare movies that all age groups will enjoy. Kids will love it today, then when they see it ten or fifteen years down the road, love it again in a totally different way.

Absolute must-see, in my opinion.

Amazing movie. I'd go so far as to say it's probably the best movie I've seen in the past few years.

Just got back, and . . . wow. That was well-done. It was extraordinarily cute, life-affirming, and full of Big Message—and the Big Message didn't screw it up.

Jo, I can't wait to see this (even thought Ray calls it a chick flick ;)). I posted a link the other day to an interview with the writer/director on this thread, if you're interested. (And, yes, Izunya, this director doesn't believe in pounding one over the head with Big Message. What a relief.)

My freinds and I were going to see it, but then the theaters were sold out.

Also, the first several lines in the trailer are pretty much the intro to my book. I was amused ^^
