How long does Amazon take?

From the East Coast, now stuck in Iowa.
My ISBN has been sent to all of the online retailers, but that was 2 weeks ago and nothing has shown up by either ISBN or Blu Phier. If you search by book title, all you see is the self published version that was supposed to be pulled and is "no longer in stock." WTF takes Amazon so long?

How long should it take?

That's ridiculous.....just to hit a damn button....place never ceases to amaze me. They told me it would take 6-8 weeks to take my self pub'd book off of there too and that was nearly a year ago.....hope I'm not waiting another year for the new one to show up....

Not sure that can happen - even if Amazon took down such pages, a "Marketplace" (third-party) seller who happens to get a used copy of your book can start a new page for your book and put it up for sale as used. I'm pretty sure you can't stop that.
