When does a short story become a novella?

I'm in the middle of writing my own version of the Greek myth about Hades and Persephone. I'm a little over halfway through. All I have left to do is a fight scene between Hades and Demeter and I'll be done. The story is called Tears of a Goddess. Its turning out to be my longest short story yet. I'm on page 45 at the moment. When does a short story become a novella? how long is a novella? I think the whole story will clock in under 100 pages. It will probably be between 60 and 70 pages long. Will it be hard to sell at this length? What type of places would want to publish a story this long? should I look into e-publishers?

And as fer the novella quandary, I agree with the Troo fella, it's word count, not pages that count. Anything between 15, 000 and 40, 000 is the length I've heard most often used to describe novellas. If you're worried about where to publish it, you can use duotrope to search for markets that accept novellas. Should give you an idea of what you wanna do and where you wanna submit to first. ^_^ But from what I understand, novellas are something of a hard sell. Which sucks, I'm writing one as well. ^_^

Hello! Tears of a Goddess is now 13,000 words. Still not finished. All of my stories are about Greek Gods. Its sorta become a bit of a hobby for me at the moment. I love going online and researching all the different stories. I've rewritten the Eros and Psyche myth and done an original story about Helios and Perse. I have found a couple of places that like mythological fiction. There's a website that publishes erotica called Aphrodite unlaced and an e-publisher called Drollerie Press that does "fairy tale" romance with mythological aspects. I have a short story being looked at by them at the moment. Mostly, though, I've had alot of trouble trying to find the right place to send my stories. They seem to stradle the fence between romance and fantasy. I'll have a look at duotrope.
