Actually I did write one in less than 2 weeks online. I was writing and posting it daily for feedback.
Of course it still needed editing but I actually did it.
I'm an online DIVA and I love message boards.

Hi, Gena. Please don't take it so hard, this PA issue. We're all writers here, and the fact that you wrote a novel means a lot. You say you have three more, well that's an accomplishment. You certainly can type fast! I wish you all the success in the world with whatever you do.
P.S. Ever heard of Shirely Jackson? The Lottery, and I think, The Haunting of Hill House? Now there was a writer of color who just happened to take first honors (in votes) from the SFWA many years ago. She died young, and it was a terrible loss to the writing community.

Honestly the only thing that bothered me in the PA issue is the attacks on ME as a person. I'm no spokesman for PA or anybody else but I am MY BIGGEST FAN. lol (that's a joke)

It's good that you came over to AW and stated your opinions. Doing that takes a lot of guts, especially on a strange new forum. I hope you won't take all the stuff over on the Neverending thread too personally. Like yourself, a lot of us are very passionate about what we believe, and in the heat of the moment we may say things we later regret.
Anyway, it's good to have you here, and I hope you have good success with your book. And most importantly, Welcome to the Cooler.
