Hi all,
I've written a YA Adventure novel with teenage boys being the primary audience. It's a contemporary story about pirates, kidnapping, friendship and self-acceptance. Despite the genre, the plot is character-driven.

The manuscript is completed and polished and I've been submitting it to agents, though without success. That being the case, I'm not really looking for help with grammar or punctuation, but I'd like for someone to critique it on a broader scale. Are the characters believable and inviting? Is the pace ok, or does the story tend to drag in places? Are there any major concerns or problems that may have been overlooked, or are there major changes that need to be made?

I would appreciate any help I can get in this matter. Please PM me if you're interested!

Thanks!
