People are saying that the Lord of the Rings would not get published in today's market. Imagine that Tolkien was really pitching "One" book that was probably around a half million words. His Publisher made him divide LOTR into three books.
I'm just curious- (humor also welcome) How would you query the Lord of the Rings?
Also, if you have a creative imagination, or are have been involved with publishers/agents, I'd also love to see your imaginary rejection letters when you saw this massive story being pitched by this somewhat inflexible, OCD (obsessive compulsive) author.

And a nice one it is, too. Can I see Faramir's butt next? Please?
