As I've been going through Proverbs and copying the verses I underlined into a word document (Just recently, I started doing this with the books of the Bible I've been reading. It helps to have all these verses on hand, and it also gives me time to digest the verses and internalize them.), I've discovered that a lot of verses, especially the ones about listening to valid criticism, can especially apply to writers and the writing life.
Here's one I found.
Proverbs 25:12
"To one who listens, valid criticism is like a gold earring or other gold jewelry."
I know the bible and its lessons apply to everyone, but if anyone has found any other verses that can easily relate to writing aspects of life, please share!
