Songs that make you not cry

Okay, I just posted again in the Songs that make you cry thread, and it's making me depressed. So here's the jollier alternative, songs that make you not cry.

What songs are guaranteed to lift you out of any fug, put a spring in your step, a grin on your face and generally brighten up your day?
A few of mine include -

The Barenaked Ladies (yes, they make me laugh as well as cry) - Grade Nine.
Queen - Just about everything they ever did.
Van Morrison - Bright Side of The Road
The Levellers - What A Beautiful Day

This was being in grade nine in Ontario in the 80s>>>

I normally loathe the Springbok Nude Girls with a hatred that borders on the psychotic, and yet, this little ditty always makes me happy. Go figure. Bunch of one hit wonders.

I agree with the nod to Queen - I just downloaded their Greatest Hits album and was surprised by the amount of songs that I love that I didn't know were theirs. Yeah, I'm a little behind.

ETA: I feel compelled to add "downloaded their album LEGALLY" - I bought it from iTunes. Maturity, guilt, and a healthy fear of getting caught have (mostly) cured me of my pirating ways.

I love the way Corinne Bailey Rae sings. Her voice is very relaxing and the lyrics are nice. My favorite songs by her are: Enchantment, Trouble Sleeping, I'd Like To, and Your Love Is Mine.

Jump, The Pointer Sisters. I can't help but start to dance when I hear this one. No joke, the other day I was driving downtown and the mailman started dancing along with me and Jump. This song is infectious!

Every time I hear Michael Jackson's Thriller it reminds me of this great frat party we had when I was in the Tri Lambs and the Omega Mu's came over.

I love songs that remind me of a particular time. High by Feeder always reminds me of hanging out, drinking cold beers with my closest friends while I was a student.
I'm going out for a while, so I can get high with my friends...

A couple come to mind,
Sweet Child O Mine- Guns N Roses
Once Bitten, Twice Shy- Ian Hunter or Great White
Those songs are such fun get crazy party songs where the music is loud and everyone thinks they are in a rock band.

You can't help but smile and be happy when you're having that much fun.

That song is from an interesting album, "They Only Come Out At Night," it has a good variety of songs on it, including several others they played on the radio. "Frankenstein" is a fun instrumental, kinda 'loud rock' and even a little bit jazzy. There's also a song for the other thread...
