I'm reading A NORTHERN LIGHT, a historical YA, and it's really great! Actually, I'm listening to it in the car to and from work. I love audio books because it's a way I can increase the amount of time I have to read every day.

I'm reading My Big Nose and Other Natural Disasters by Sydney Salter. It's really cute and fun!

I just read an ARC of Bite Me, by Mel Francis. REALLY great book! Its out next month. Have a new series on its way to me, can't wait to see how it is. And the new Kelly Armstrong book just shipped that I preordered. The Awakening, can't wait to read that one too. Oh and Melissa Marr's Fragile Eternity should be after the first of May. (Dying for!)

I read too fast and can't buy fast enough.

Just finished FADE by Lisa McMann! Totally excellent. I really enjoy her writing style. It's minimalistic and yet everything still seems so detailed and captivating. I'm looking forward to the third book, GONE, but I have to wait till Feb 2010....sigh.

Hmmm, sounds like we have similar tastes in books, seeing as I've read WAKE, FADE, NEED, and THE DEVOURING, too!
I'll have to look into TITHE and the others you mentioned. :)

Yay! They're really good. EVERMORE is #1 on NY Times Bestseller List right now for like the ninth week in a row. I can't put it down. And I have a few others on my wish list on Amazon. LOL Have you read THE SUMMONING by Kelley Armstrong? It's good too.

Recently finished Climbing the Stairs by Padma Venktraman. Loved it. About a girl in WWII India coming to terms with war, love, and a woman's place in society.

Now I'm almost done with The Mysterious Benedict Society, which is more MG, but pretty fun.

I definitely recommend FOREST OF HANDS AND TEETH to everyone. I tell them it's a weird combo of the movie "I Am Legend" and the Lois Lowry book THE GIVER (which is also amazing, btw)

I just finished the Gemma Doyle triology, starting with a great and terrible beauty. They were a random buy for me that turned out to be one of the best set of books i've ever read.

EVERYBODY, GO READ JELLICOE ROAD.
the first few chapters are tough to plug through, since you have no clue what's going on, but oh man is the payoff worth it. I'm so glad it won this year's Printz.
seriously, bump it right up to the top of your must-read list.
